Playing Bingo Online
Bingo originated five centuries ago and originates out of Italy where it was played as a type of Lotto game. This game was quite popular during the fifteenth century throughout the whole of Europe. This happens also when playing Bingo online, only now either the computer crosses them off automatically or the player has to click the numbers to manually cross them off. The numbers that used to be called by a person drawing the balls from the container are now replaced by the computer that randomly selects the numbers. All this can be followed on the computer screen.
When playing the Bingo game the first one to cross off five boxes horizontal, vertical or diagonal wins. When playing regular bingo at this point it is time to yell "BINGO" and have the bingo card checked to determine whether or not a valid Bingo was declared. Online it is either done automatically by the computer that recognizes Bingo was achieved or the player has to click the "Bingo button" in order to make sure they are the first one to claim Bingo. In case of the latter, it is possible to reach Bingo first and still lose because of clicking too late.
Knowing the “game terminology” in order to play Bingo online is required as terms show up on the computer screen during the game. Terms like; coverall and booklet have to be common knowledge in order to be able to play the game correctly. While Bingo game rules can vary a little between different online versions these terms are always the same, so be sure to be familiar with them before attempting to play the game online.
